Water Impact Penetration Tester
Water impact penetration tester is a economical device to measure the resistance of fabric to the penetration of water by impact. When test, a volume of water is sprayed against a taut surface of the specimen backed by a weighted blooter. The blotter is then reweighted to determine water penetration and the specimen is classified.
The water impact penetration equipment is applicable to test the fabric with or without water-resistant or water-repellent finish, it is suitable to determine the resistance of fabrics to rain penetration.
