The T531 direct shear tester which is also called as direct shear apparatus is to determine the friction characteristics of geotextiles and related products in contact with a standard sand under normal stress and at a constant rate of displacement. The microprocessor-based automatic tester is driven by stepper motor, pressure regulator and analysis system.
